LittleTown Farm Guest House Review

If you've read some of my recent posts or follow me on Instagram you'll know it was recently my 21st birthday and me and my boyfriend spent a night away in the Lake District. While we were there we stayed at a lovely little guest house called LittleTown Farm Guest House. The room was £90 for the night including breakfast, which was a great price to say how lovely the room was and it was only a ten minute drive from the centre of Keswick. When we first checked in the owners were out for a family meal and it was their friend who showed us around and took us to our room. In the evening when we were sat in the living room one of the owners came over to us to introduce himself and to make sure we checked in ok which was really nice of him to do, it made the place even more welcoming.
The room was small and simple but was a really pretty room, the room had a feature wall that was stripped and neutral which caught you attention when you first arrived which then leads you to look at the bed. The bed was a metal frame vintage style bed. As always with metal bed frames it was a little squeaky but hardly noticeable. The bed was placed in the perfect position so that you would look out of the window and admire the amazing views. The views were amazing, there's nothing better than waking up in the morning to the sun shining over the mountains. The room also included an en-suite bathroom which had a lovely modern shower and was super clean.

The guest house included a lovely sitting room for guest to sit and relax, watch some tv or even play some of the board games they had on offer. Me and Matt had to get up early the next morning to walk alpacas so we decided to have a game of scrabble then go to bed. We took scrabble to our room instead of playing it in the sitting room so we could have a couple of drinks and relax by ourselves.
In the morning there was a small selection of cereals, fruit, yogurt and fresh juice along with a cooked breakfast. I had toast bacon and poached eggs and matt went for toast and scrambled egg ( we went to a chinese the night before and were still pretty full in the morning). The breakfast was amazing, probably the best poached eggs I've ever eaten, everything tasted so fresh and was just all around nice. They also served really nice tea which made the breakfast even better along with the views out of the window we sat by. I'd highly recommend this little guest house to anyone, it's great value for money and the owners are really friendly. Let me know if you guys check it out!
